A deceptively simple piece. Not just my favorite work from my time at Explore, but one of the films that I’m most proud to have worked on... The footage had been shot in just two days and the original filmmaker (who was the cameraman) had an idea for the film he wanted to put together - but apparently he didn’t get all the footage he thought he needed.
When he found himself unable to get an edit going, I was asked to take a look and see if there was anything to be made from the material. Maybe it would be a nice 5 minute piece about fly-fishing.
